  8. Here is a recipe that I make using canned cherries, but I'm sure you can
  9. adjust it:

  11. 1 box white cake mix
  12. 1 stick of margarine
  13. 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  14. 1 can cherry pie filling
  15. 2 tbls lemon juice
  16. 1 teas almond flavoring
  17.  
  18. Mix cherries, lemon juice and almond flavoring, pour into a 9" pan.
  19. Melt margarine, mix with dry cake mix and walnuts.  Sprinkle over
  20. cherries, bake at 350 for about 30 minutes until slightly brown on
  21. top.

  23. I have also used chocolate cake mix for a psuedo "black forest cake".
